Clinical decision-support — not a diagnosis. Wisevet helps a qualified veterinary professional structure their own reasoning. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or recommend treatment, and it is not a substitute for clinical examination, training, or judgement. Every diagnostic and treatment decision remains the responsibility of the attending clinician.

Who this is for

Wisevet is intended for use by qualified veterinary surgeons and registered veterinary professionals. It is not intended for use by animal owners or members of the public, and it must not be used to make decisions about human health.

Not a medical device

Wisevet is an educational and reasoning-support tool. It is not a medical device and has not been evaluated or certified as one. It surfaces considerations (including “can’t-miss” differentials and red flags) to prompt your own thinking; it never states a definitive diagnosis or a course of treatment.

Beta software

Wisevet is in active beta and is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Features may change, the service may be unavailable at times, and data may be reset during the beta period. Please do not rely on Wisevet as your only record of a case.

What we collect

  • Your account details: name and email address.
  • The clinical reasoning you enter into a case (presenting problems, history and exam findings you select, your differentials and notes) and the coaching responses generated for it.
  • Feedback you submit, and basic technical logs needed to run the service.

Please do not enter personally identifiable information about clients or owners (names, addresses, contact details). Wisevet is built around the clinical problem, not the client record.

How your data is used and stored

Your case reasoning is used to generate coaching for that case and to keep your own case log. Free-text you enter is passed to an AI model (Anthropic) to generate coaching; it is not used to train that model. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Data is stored on our hosting provider (Railway). Case history is private to your account — signed-out users cannot see it.

Your choices

You can delete individual cases, or all of your cases, from your home screen. To delete your account and associated data, or to request a copy of your data, email drmarcsimpson@gmail.com.
